In the week following the three-year commemoration of the 10/25/2023, the Comfort Angels will be joining us at the Maine Resiliency Center to offer comfort, connection, and community.

After what can be a difficult and emotional week for many, we invite you to take some time for yourself, connect with others, and find comfort in being together.

Healing happens in community, and you don't have to navigate this journey alone 💙

The Comfort Angels are a group of local volunteers who craft handmade items to bring comfort to others. The group has generously donated dozens of care bags for guests at the Center. This group was founded in 2018 by Mary Dempsey and was created to bring people together to provide caring gifts of support and to brighten someone’s day. The comfort items are all handmade with love by the Angels.
