Free Event for First Responders - Travis Howze

The Maine Resiliency Center in collaboration with the Rumford Police Department will be hosting a free event for First Responders with international touring speaker, author, and motivational wellness educator Travis Howze on Friday, May 2nd at the Franco Center in Lewiston. Priority will be granted to current or recently retired Maine First Responders who responded to the mass shooting in Lewiston on October 25, 2023.

  • Doors open at 4PM
  • Event from 5PM-8PM
  • Free parking at the Franco Center

About the presenter: Travis spent 14 years in the military and emergency services as a U.S. Marine, Police Officer and Firefighter. He has been able to find healing after an extremely chaotic and traumatic past which led him on a path to helping others by speaking and teaching about Post Traumatic Purpose.
