Join us at the Maine Resiliency Center for a welcoming time of creativity, connection, and community as we make holiday ornaments together.
The holiday season can bring a mix of emotions, especially for those impacted by trauma and grief. This gathering offers an opportunity to slow down, spend time with others, and create something meaningful in a supportive space.
Research suggests that creative activities and crafting may support emotional well-being, reduce stress, and foster connection. Sometimes, healing can begin with simple moments of creating, sharing stories, laughing together, or simply being in the company of others.
There is no expectation to feel festive or to have everything figured out. Come as you are, make an ornament at your own pace, and enjoy some time together. You are welcome here, just as you are.
We look forward to creating, connecting, and supporting one another this holiday season. 💙
